The Great Duck Race is back!

The Duck RaceThe Great Duck Race is back for 2013!

After the success of the first ever race at the 2012 eLearning Awards last November, Unicorn are delighted to have once again signed up as Game Sponsors for this year’s awards, which are taking place in London on Thursday 7 November 2013.

As the sponsorship was announced at the launch of the 2013 eLearning Age Awards in London today (Tuesday 29 January 2013), Unicorn CEO, Peter Phillips, had this to say:

I’m sure some people thought we were quackers, but our sponsorship of the 2012 awards turned out to be a great success and we are delighted to build on that with an even greater duck race in what is our 25th anniversary year.

“Unicorn has a long history of building simulation models, although usually on rather less entertaining topics, and this was an opportunity to show off our modelling skills in a light-hearted context. Our creative team had great fun designing and building the 2012 race.

“More importantly, the race worked really well on the night. Everyone got involved in what was going on, cheering on their tables’ ducks, making loads of noise with their duck quackers and seeing the humour in the race too. The race brought a little light relief to proceedings, which by their sheer nature, are always tense.

“The Awards night is a highlight of the year in the e-learning calendar and although we considered celebrating our silver jubilee with a flotilla of 1000 boats down the river Thames and a fly by from the Red Arrows, in the end, nothing could beat the eLearning Awards.”

More information on how you make sure you’ve got a duck in the running at this year’s awards is coming soon.
